Kala Milburg has embarked on a remarkable journey in the fastener industry, drawing upon the valuable expertise acquired while working alongside her father. Her entry into Marine Fasteners in 2022, now known as Wurth Industry USA since 2025, saw her starting as a Sales Support Specialist and later flourishing into a Sales Specialist role of her own. With a solid foundation from over a decade in the medical field, Kala navigated the transition into the fastener sector with both challenges and triumphs.

In recognition of her dedication, Kala was humbled to receive the esteemed Edith Cameron Scholarship from Women in the Fastener Industry (WIFI) in 2023. This prestigious award granted her the opportunity to partake in the International Fastener Expo in Las Vegas, where she witnessed firsthand the unwavering camaraderie and backing of the WIFI community, fueling her passion to contribute to their noble cause. Her commitment and excellence led her to proudly accept a position on the WIFI Board in 2024.
